HELLO! MY NAME IS CLAIRE BEUTLER
Raised on the Western Slope of Colorado, I sought to pursue higher education guided by the Jesuit Principle of learning in service of others. I found this at Regis University in Denver, CO where I earned my BA in Visual Arts w/ an emphasis in digital design and printmaking in May 2020. I draw inspiration from my favorite things; storytelling, the splendor of the natural world, my love for animals and all things fun and beautiful! The various media I work in include; digital design, printmaking, sculpture, drawing and painting.
I am passionate about interweaving the arts into teaching and serving others. I’ve gotten the chance to do so volunteering for the Special Olympics where I have been a coach, partner, and volunteer for over seven years. As well as in my work with the St. Regis Work-Study, a Denver institution known for its ground breaking work serving the unhoused and poverty stricken populations of the Front Range of Colorado. I was selected as a Daniels Scholar in 2016. The criteria for the comprehensive Daniels Scholarship are exceptional character, leadership skills, and a commitment to serving our communities.
